Be a part of one of our largest and most social sports. In Slo-Pitch, all pitches are ‘lobbed’ between 6 and 12 feet, making it easier for batters to make contact. The ESSC offers Recreational, and Recreational Plus divisions. All games are played on City of Edmonton fields, most have shale infields, large backstops and player benches. The batting team supplies umpires. All divisions, except for Recreational, have 10 players on the field, with a minimum of three females. The Recreational division uses the ‘3 pitch’ system, with each team pitching to their own batters with a maximum of 3 pitches per batter. This division has 9 players on the field, with a minimum of 3 females. After your game, enjoy ESSC specials at one of our many Sponsor Bars around the city.

Get outdoors this season and play Soccer with the ESSC. It’s a great way to get fit, work on your eye-foot coordination and to have fun with your team. It’s a 6 on 6 game including the goalies, with a minimum of two females on the field at all times. We offer Recreational, Recreational Plus and Intermediate divisions. All players are expected to call their own fouls and manage the game. We encourage you to play with a ‘fun-first’ attitude at our various medium sized fields around the city and to visit one of our official Sponsor Bars after the games.

The Calgary Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that has been serving volleyball enthusiasts in Calgary through its leagues and tournaments since 1990.
The CBVA is realizing this goal with over 800 participants partaking in one of two regular league sessions as well as competitive and recreational tournaments throughout the beach volleyball season.
The CBVA has a centrally-located, well-developed 12-court outdoor sand facility at Valleyview Regional Park in the southeast community of Dover. There's a clickable map on the navigation bar to the left. Access is easy and fast from Deerfoot Trail.
The CBVA’s leagues & events provide a great environment for friendly competition, meeting new people and introducing new participants to the sport either through playing or spectating.

Ultimate is an exciting, fast moving game, which combines the best aspects of football, soccer and basketball. It is a non-contact competitive team sport that is distinguished by its spirit of the game (the principles of fair play, sportsmanship, and the joy of play). It is easy to learn, fun to play and a great way to get fit! The ESSC offers Recreational divisions. It’s a 5 on 5 game, with a minimum of two females on the field at all times. Games are located throughout the city and are played on City of Edmonton fields. Four teams play at each field per night. All games have an Event Coordinator present to help facilitate games, but all players are expected to call their own fouls and manage the game. After your game, enjoy ESSC specials at one of our many Sponsor Bars around Edmonton.
